I haven’t been sleeping well the past few nights since I’ve been getting up earlier than normal for work and for the first time in weeks since I’ve been eating almost 100% whole foods, I just want junk and excessively fatty food. It’s like my body is trying to make up for the lost energy. I’m also on my period so……..
I’ve compromised with my cravings and allowed myself to use some of my 49 extra weekly points but I’m still making better choices.
So instead of a 6” sub, I opted for 12” because I was goddamn hungry. And I had a local lean humboldt grass fed cheeseburger (homemade on the grill with local loleta cheese too!). So I didn’t dip too far into my extra points at all. I’ve maybe used like 3 or 4 but I really want a cookie (or two) later…so I’ll use more lol
Tonight I plan on sleeping. I still have to wake up super early tomorrow but I’m going to try to sleep earlier if I can.
Considering rejoining Weight Watchers. I’m thinking if I want weight loss, I might need the structured program because I am either under eating and not losing (or gaining) or over eating and facing the same problem.
The only question is, how to count green smoothies. To count or not to count, that is the question.
Advice?

I feel like I become waaaay too obsessed with calories when I am logging my food on it and I end up gaining weight every time. I ignore all the other features and fixate on the calories and it causes weight gain. My body is just doing what it’s supposed to do and going in starvation mode. Nice to know it works but I don’t want my body to think it’s going through a famine.
So I’m quitting the app once and for all and not worrying about it and sticking with my mostly plant based diet and seeing how it goes.
I’d also like to point out that I have not been eating enough fat. I felt like crap all day today and super depressed and have been having massive mood swings. Then I ate half of an avocado in my salad and instantly felt better and figured out what my problem was. So I’m going to stop ignoring fats. I know they’re not bad (obviously) but I just haven’t even been thinking about it. I’ll be loading up on avocados and flax and stuff.
FAT SUGGESTIONS WELCOME! :D

I think I’m going to try start a green smoothie fast over the weekend. If it goes well, I’ll continue through the week. Eventually I’d like to work up to the 30 day challenge but I’d like to have more recipes and variety before then. Right now I really only have 2 recipes. They’re super tasty and healthy but I need to mix it up if I’m going for a long time.
I’m pretty tired of my sleep and digestive issues so I’m going to try to reset my system and flush stuff out.
Juice fasting is not a good choice for me, smoothies are though. :D

I had some chicken for dinner and it just didn’t taste very good. I find I just want plants instead of pure protein like animal proteins. Greens are making me feel sick though, fruits seem to sit alright. Fruits don’t fill me up though, I need more complex carbs in order to feel satisfied. I’ve been satisfying that need with sweet potatoes.
I think my system is just not used to all the greens so it’s doing what some people label as “detox.”
It’s hard feeling like I’m going to throw up, crap myself, and have a splitting headache at work! Especially if I’m out on a bloodmobile omg.
